Does AI Know You Have a Podcast?

If your website isn’t structured to tell AI platforms and Search Engines who you are and what you do – they can’t recommend your show – or your business – to anyone.

Podcast Schema Markup

If someone asks AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Claude about shows in your niche, does your podcast come up?

Right now, it may or may not show up – AI decides what to surface based on many factors, and no one controls all of them.

But we do know that if your website isn’t structured properly, you’re not even in the running.

Most podcast websites are missing something called schema markup: the behind-the-scenes code that tells search engines and AI tools what your show actually is and that you host it.  Without it, they’re guessing, and when they’re guessing, they’re usually moving on to a show that makes it easier for them. (Or hallucinating something, I suppose…)

Now, schema markup doesn’t guarantee you’ll be cited or recommended – it’s one of many factors in play. What it does do is make sure your show can be properly read and understood by the different AI platforms (and search engines!)

And that means you’re in the game.

Here’s How it Works

Step 1

Tell us About Your Show

You give us the details about your show, and choose the episodes you would like schema markup for.

Step 2

We Build the Markup

We create the schema code for your podcast as a whole and the individual episodes you selected.

Step 3

We Get it Live

We will either provide you with upload-ready schema markup code, or deploy it for you. Your choice.

Each Package Includes:

  • Podcast-level schema (show name, host, description, categories, and more)
  • Individual episode schema for the number of episodes you select (title, date, duration, affiliation, and more)
  • Ready to upload schema markup, or full deployment – whichever works for you.

Schema Markup Packages

10 Episodes ($447) – A solid starting point for newer shoes, or for podcasters who want to prioritze their strongest or most recent episodes.

20 Episodes ($597) – A good fit for established shows with a core catalogue they want to surface to search engines and AI platforms.

30 Episodes ($847) – For shows with a substantial library. You pick the episodes, we handle the rest.

All prices in CAD. HST(13%) will be added at invoicing.

– Tox Fox, The Compliance Podcast Network

I’ll be honest. I started the Spin Sucks podcast with some trepidation. We talked about it for years, but I couldn’t just seem to get my butt in gear to get it done. I kept hearing things such as less than one percent of podcasts are hosted by women (according to Libsyn) and also watched the trajectory of podcasting and yet…

But then the amazingly brilliant and easy-to-work with women from One Stone Creative told me there is more than enough content on the blog to create a podcast. They said, in fact, I wouldn’t have to do any work, other than record something weekly. They made it so easy, it was impossible to say no. Thanks to them, we’re here 5 years later.
