Business Podcast Sprints

A focused, done-for-you podcast season strategically designed for your business, finished in 12 weeks.

An Evergreen Business Asset in 90 Days

A Business Podcast Sprint™ is a fast, straightforward way to have a professionally produced podcast working in your business without an ongoing commitment, or a steep learning curve.

In 12 weeks we design, record, produce and publish a complete 12-episode season, built around a specific job your business needs done using the Business Podcast Blueprints methodology. You bring your expertise and your stories, we take care of everything else.

Is This the Right Fit?

Business Podcast Sprints are the most effective when:

  • You have been in business at least 2 years
  • You have an existing sales process that works pretty well or better
  • You are clear about your ideal clients and why they do business with you
  • You, or any team members who would be involved do client facing work directly
  • You don’t enjoy the treadmill of perpetual content creation
  • You don’t want to learn a bunch of new technology
  • You really just want podcasting to be easy, quick and done

This process won’t be a great fit if you’re still defining your audience or offers, you need to generate income from the project immediately, or your schedule is too full to be able to devote 15-20 hours to the project over the next three months. Also, if your most important business priorities are currently around networking and relationship building, other types of podcasting, like ongoing production will be more effective for you.

Here’s How it Works

The Business Podcast Sprint Process has been designed to take all of the guesswork and as much of the work work as possible out of podcasting.

Step 1

Learning and Design

You tell us about your business, and we design a custom solo or co-hosted podcast season to meet your specific goals, complete with episode outlines, art, music, and graphics templates.

Step 2

Practice and Recording

You add your stories and insights to the scripts we provide, practice your episodes, then join an expert producer to record all of your episodes over two recording sessions.

Step 3

Production and Release

We produce, edit and publish all 12 episodes with graphics and notes, then help you submit your show to Apple and Spotify, and guide you on how to put it to work in your business.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work for someone who has never podcasted before?

This is one of the better ways a new podcaster can test the medium without an ongoing commitment. This is a largely done-for-you process where we will be handlng the content planning, the recording and all of the post-production so your focus can be on sharing your expertise. (And learning to use your mic!)

What if I can’t finish within 90 days?

We can adjust timelines if needed, and short pauses are fine if work or life get busy. The 90 day process is for momentum, not pressure. That said, if a project becomes inactive for a period of 3 months or more, we may close it out or officially schedule a new start date so things don’t linger indefinitely.

How is a Sprint different than ongoing production?

A Business Podcast Sprint is designed to be a complete body of work created for a very specific goal like lead nurturing, audience qualification or operational efficiency. It has a clear beginning and end, and an be released as a batch.

Ongoing podcast production is more open ended, and has a weekly or bi-weekly release schedule and no firm end-date. They are best for goals like relationship building or sustained thought leadership visibility.

Who will I be working with?

You’ll be working directly with the core One Stone Creative Team!  Your podcast strategy and outline will be developed by co-founder and podcast strategist Megan Dougherty. Your sessions will be recorded with Audra Casino, a 20+ year veteran of broadcast audio. Your show will be coordinated by account manager Darla Fields, who oversees production flow and asset creation.

Will I need any special equipment?

That depends on what you’re starting with.

For  a high-quality show, you’ll want a microphone (and webcam, if on video) better than the built-in options on your computer.

At the start of the process, we’ll review your current tech setup and the room you’ll be recording in, and if anything needs upgrading we will recommend some options for you.

If you have any further questions, please message Megan (at) OneStoneCreative (dot) net and she will be back with you directly.

What People Have to Say about Working with One Stone Creative:

One Stone Creative produced the Unlearn Podcast from the spring of 2019, to 2024.

The team provided excellent strategy development, coaching and preparation during the planning and launch of the show, and consistently deliver crisp editing and detailed show notes. On an ongoing basis, they’ve offered interview coaching, brainstorming around strategies and ideas to improve the show. With their help my audience and podcasting skills continuously grow.

    – Barry O’Reilly, The Unlearn Podcast

“The team of One Stone creativewas a pure joy to work with on my podcast network.

They bring both professionalism and passion to being two of the top podcast producers and podcasting consultants around. If you are thinking about starting a podcast or have been podcasting for years as I have, they bring not only efficiency to your podcast production but real value for your entire operation. Two Thumbs up and Five Stars to  the entire team of One Stone Creative.”

    – Tox Fox, The Compliance Podcast Network

I’ll be honest. I started the Spin Sucks podcast with some trepidation. We talked about it for years, but I couldn’t just seem to get my butt in gear to get it done. I kept hearing things such as less than one percent of podcasts are hosted by women (according to Libsyn) and also watched the trajectory of podcasting and yet…

But then the amazingly brilliant and easy-to-work with women from One Stone Creative told me there is more than enough content on the blog to create a podcast. They said, in fact, I wouldn’t have to do any work, other than record something weekly. They made it so easy, it was impossible to say no. Thanks to them, we’re here 5 years later.
